There's always something especially romantic about February weddings, but sometimes you can find yourself at the mercy of the elements! However, a few weeks back now, I was able to share in Scott and Louises' special day - and the weather stayed calm throughout the whole day. The crisp, almost Spring like, day showcased just some of the awesome Field Place settings and scenery that surrounded this amazing couple.
Both Scott and Louise's fun and friendly personalities shone through the entire day. It was such a privilege to be asked to capture their marriage and be a part of their infectious joy that quickly spread throughout their guests.
Maybe it was best illustrated by Scott's 'being pulled away from the car' idea, which was a fantastically funny scene to create and capture for them. Either that or Louise's super-classy denim jacket with her new married name on the back. The day was filled with memorable moments just like these, and I loved every second of it - nearly as much as they clearly did. Congratulations to such a beautiful couple and thank-you for having me at your special celebration.
Bignor Park Estate was shrouded in a cool mist the morning of this beautiful elopement Photography shoot.
Many Sussex wedding suppliers had come together this fresh morning to create something rather special together.
Nikki from The Toast had been collating and sharing her vision of earthen tones, dramatic features and soft textures for months and the anticipation of finally bringing this dream to life was tangible in the air.
The 200 year old stables and coach house at Bignor Park Estate was the perfect backdrop with white washed walls and rustic brickwork flooring. Each supplier brought so much life and creativity to this shoot displaying their talents in such a passionate and yet gentle and intricate way.
The various scenes you will see below showcase everything you would want for a unique and stunning wedding day in Sussex.
As a Sussex wedding photographer it’s always such an honour to be a part of shoots like this where you’re part of something bigger than yourself. There were so many incredible people who came together to make this happen and the photos from this wedding elopement style shoot were really something special.
Being part of the family, this was always going to be a special wedding to photograph for me. It did mean juggling a couple of my own little munchkins throughout the day, something I doubt I'll ever have to do again!
But it was a great privilege to do such a beautiful wedding in such a picturesque setting as Kings Weston House in Bristol. It made some perfect framing for Jeremy and Pin. Backdrops of giant blue walls, golden brickwork and luscious grounds made for the perfect pictures of such a special couple to me.
I can’t picture a more idillic start to a wedding day than weaving through the peaceful Sussex countryside towards Long Furlong Barn with the summer sun cascading over the golden fields that surround the beautiful Sussex wedding venue. Every wedding is truly beautiful and being a Shoreham wedding photographer I’ve spent many wonderful days with […]
Lydia and Michael’s wedding took place on a bright February morning where the rare winter sunshine made everyone feel like spring had arrived to celebrate with them. I met Lydia and her bridal party at her family home where she had grown up and was welcomed to the smell of croissants fresh from the oven. […]
This wedding was such a dream. A bright summer August morning in the countryside of Sussex this couple said “I do” and I had the absolute pleasure of capturing their moments as a Shoreham wedding photographer. Their ceremony was at the beautiful Saint John the Baptist Church in Findon and their reception was held at the stunning Long […]
~ happy valentine’s day ~ Love should be shared, displayed, enjoyed and remembered. You don’t have to be engaged or getting married to have some special photos taken on the two of you. I’ve taken many photoshoots of people who are simply in love with no other motives. If you’d like some beautiful photos that […]
I had the great privilege of photographing this beautiful Sussex wedding near Brighton last Saturday. The wedding ceremony was in Hove and the wedding reception was at Cisswood House Hotel in Upper Beeding in the beautiful countryside. I turned up at the brides home while she was quietly getting ready and there was such a relaxed […]
