Worthing Wedding Photography – Field Place Manor House

Everyone loves the idea of a warm summer wedding in Sussex. Well, these two woke up to the hottest day of the year on their day! Anyone who knows the UK knows that that 30+ degrees at midday is headlines newsworthy hot!

Jenni and Ross had met me months before and during that time had become my firm friends. I loved chatting to Jenni about all her wedding ideas, dress plans, gin flavours, kids, house decor and more. As a Worthing wedding photographer it means so much when people want to share their plans and dreams with me. And I love seeing them find exactly what they want for their day, regardless of what others think.

These two got married at the stunning award winning venue Field Place Manor House. One of my all time favourite venues! We started the day with hanging up Jenni’s incredible dress in the wisteria walkway out in the beautiful gardens of Field Place. The morning went by in a peaceful blur of laughter, prosecco, stunning flowers by Flowers4, make up and just a few excited nerves.
I walked over to the ceremony room to find Ross being fanned by their guests to help him cool down. I honestly feel for the suit wearers on hot days!
The look on his face when Jenni walked into the room…there wasn’t a dry eye in the house that’s for sure.
Having known each other for years, falling in love slowly and then becoming a family together, they were finally married!!
They had a celebratory group photo with all their guests who were cheering and celebrating their love with them.

After some more lovely photos with their families and loved ones in the gardens they sat down to a gorgeous meal followed by hilarious and tear-jerking speeches. The whole team at Field Place Manor House are absolutely amazing. Their wedding planner Amanda is second to none and goes above and beyond to ensure every couple has there perfect day. The ceremony room and barns were beautifully dressed and decorated by Hire Your Day. Their bespoke stationery and table numbers were created by the amazing Elegant Stationery. Their meal was carefully and wonderfully prepared and served by Hardings Catering. Such a great team to work with on the day!

As a Shoreham wedding photographer I’ve never been told by a bride and groom to put my cameras down and join them on the dance floor for a song, but these two didn’t give me the choice but to have a good dance with them! It was amazing and I left their day feeling so thankful to be part of their beautiful day and for their precious friendship.
