I’ll never forget how blue and clear the sky was on the morning of Bethan and Josh’s wedding day. I can only describe it as the feeling of being on holiday. After meeting Bethan and Josh a few months before their day for there engagement photos, I was so excited to capture them getting married on their day!

Bethan was getting ready at her parents lovely home surrounded by her bridesmaids and family. Laughter, champagne and stunning floral patterns and arrangements were everywhere and I was in my element. Bethan had a stunning dried floral crown made by the talented Folky Dokey which went perfectly with the colours and theme of the day. Mabel and the Finch Floristry had designed the most stunning bouquets which I loved taking photos of outside by the rustic woodshed.
Bethan looked so calm (although I know she was full of butterflies!) as she stepped into her wedding dress and made her was to the beautiful Cissbury Barns venue to marry her Josh.

There’s nothing quite like that moment just before the bride starts to walk down the aisle. This sacred hush falls over the room, the music starts playing and then there she is and nearly all eyes are filled with happy tears and the joy and relief on the grooms face is just amazing!

After their lovely ceremony in the beautiful East Barn, Bethan and Josh were showered with hand dried petal confetti and hugs from their happy loved ones.
After a few group photos (as a Shoreham wedding photographer I always recommend leaving 20-30 minutes in your schedule for some lovely photos of you and your families and chosen groups of people together), Bethan and Josh spent a few minutes along taking in the beautiful Sussex Downs and each other.

Upon arrival back to their reception they were welcome with cheers of happy joy as they stepped into the West Barn at Cissbury Barns for their wedding breakfast.
Capturing speeches is one of the most fun and emotional parts of the day! So many tears of joy and emotion (and sometimes embarrassment!) – it’s just too good to miss! As a Shoreham wedding photographer and Brighton wedding photographer, I love it when couples choose to have me with them for their whole day. Capturing the whole story of their day is so wonderful and I love capturing all the little and big moments for them.

Bethan and Josh had a perfect golden hour on their day and popped out quickly before their first dance for some photos with the sun setting behind them in the poppy fields.
After much fun dancing, cake eating and sparklers, I left them both dancing the night away with their friends. What a perfect day!
