Driving along the coast at 7am in the morning for a sunrise maternity photoshoot was simply blissful. There’s something really special about early mornings on a beach with no one else around except the fishermen bringing in their catch or the occasional dog walker enjoying the solitude of being the first footsteps in the untouched sand.
These lovely parents to be wanted that beautiful sunrise atmosphere along with an empty beach for their maternity photoshoot in Sussex. We met on the edge of West Wittering beach and made our way through the grasses and onto the sand. The tide was so far out which gave the beach a feeling of being miles wide which I loved. This couple were so peaceful and comfortable together and they were such a joy to photograph. Being a maternity photographer in Sussex is one of my favorite jobs ever and I feel so honoured when people choose me to document this precious time in their lives just before meeting their little one.
